Vacation - Day 2 (Coastal California/Redwoods/Russian River Valley)

 Sunday, September 28th - We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel restaurant before driving to the coast of California.

We took a scenic drive on Hwy 116 to Hwy 1

We had lunch reservations at a restaurant called "Rivers End". This restaurant is located where the Russian River dumps in to the Pacific Ocean. http://www.ilovesunsets.com/restaurant.html

Before lunch we had some time to stop at a California beach.
Karl chose Schoolhouse Beach.

It was not a sandy beach but more of a pea gravel beach.

After lunch we drive from Jenner to Guerneville
(Armstrong Redwoods State Reserve)

  When we left the park, we drove to Forestville.

Then we had dinner at Corks which is on the property at the Russian River Vineyards.
