Rangers Game

Tuesday night, we went to the Rangers game. 

Elvis Andrus was presented with a Team Award for the most stolen bases.

We were looking forward to see Martin Perez pitch.
Over his previous three starts, he had strung together 26 scoreless innings.
Last night, he had a hard time getting one.
Perez allowed eight earned runs on eight hits in 4 2/3 innings
and brought a humble ending to his winning streak 

 

The Rangers got a run in the fourth when Alex Rios doubled home Adrian Beltre, who led off the inning with a single. In the fifth, Texas tacked on two more, including Prince Fielder's ninth RBI on a single, to pull within six runs. They did not get a runner in scoring position in the final four innings. The Rangers lost 9-3.

 Our seats were 4 rows away from the VIP box seats.
I tried to get a picture of Ivan "Pudge" Rodriquez all night.
I was trying to be quick as he didn't keep his head turned very long.

 This was our view to the dugout.
We had AWESOME seats, 7th row (seats 1 &2) near the Rangers dugout.
We were in the fourth row behind the Fox Sports Southwest camera crew.
We saw Emily Jones several times!

It was a chilly night to watch the game. It ended up being 60 degrees when the game was over.
The LemonChills were a definate "hard sell" last night!
