Sunday at the Dallas Zoo

The Elliotts have a season pass to the Dallas Zoo and they invited me along today.
The temps were in the 70s so it was a perfect way to spend a beautiful day.
Outside...getting some fresh air.

Andrew loves the monkeys!
Look out Andrew - Chomp! Chomp!
 More monkeys
 And even more monkeys.
We did see the real things but he loved getting to interact with the monkey statues.
We saw elephants, zebras, storks, lemurs and meerkats.
And then there were the giraffes.
Andrew calls them "Long Neck"
Josh and Jill took him to feed the giraffes.
He wasn't scared and at the end he said "Bye Bye Neck"
And then there were the Lions.
Andrew and I love playing roaring like lions.
These lions didn't roar today, but did keep us company when we had lunch at the Serengeti Cafe.
Off to the Children's Zoo where Andrew saw horseys, pigs, ducks and goats.
He got to pet some goats.
These were the calmest goats I've ever seen.
 More playtime.
Crawling in the tunnels with Mommy!
Sitting in the birds nest with Mimi!
Playing on the slide with Daddy!
Followed by more tunnels "all by myself"
Thanks for inviting me for a day of fun and sun (lunch too!)
I had a great Sunday!
