Friday, I went to the doctor to get the results of my ALCAT (food sensitivity test) for my sinus/GI issues.
The Alcat Test is a lab based immune stimulation test in which a patient's WBC's are challenged with various substances including foods, additives, colorings, chemicals, medicinal herbs, functional foods, molds and pharmaceutical compounds. The patient's unique set of responses help to identify substances that may trigger potentially harmful immune system reactions.

Here are my results:
FOOD SENSITIVITY:
SEVERE Intolerance: Artichoke, Coriander, Endive, Kidney Bean, Mackerel, Pistachio, Salmon & Scallops
MODERATE Intolerance: Almond, Asparagus, Avocado, Basil, Bell Peppers, Bison, Blueberry, Brewers Yeast, Cashew, Cinnamon, Cocoa, Coffee, Cranberry, Cucumber, Eggplant, Fava Bean, Ginger, Honey, Maple Sugar, Millet, Orange, Pinto Beans, Psyllium, Snapper, Sole, Venison.

BUT.....I have a long list of ACCEPTABLE foods. I started avoiding some of my favorite things on the above list and I have already noticed less sinus congestion and no abdominal fullness/bloating.
Other things tested:
I also have a MODERATE reaction to Candida Albicans so need to avoid Cane Sugar and Fructose
I have a MILD reaction to Gluten (Barley, Rye, Malt, Spelt, Oat, Wheat)|
I have a MODERATE reaction to Casein and need to avoid Cow's Milk and Goat's Milk.
I also showed a MODERATE reaction to certain Molds and a Mild reaction to Glyphosate (Round-Up)

Food intolerance, on the other hand, is much more common than food allergies and is characterized by digestive disorders, migraines, obesity, chronic fatigue, aching joints, skin disorders and behavioral issues. It has been stated that upwards of 70-80% of the US population has food intolerance. Unfortunately for many, those food intolerance symptoms are often identified as individual problems and treated as such, thus treating the symptoms and not the cause. The Alcat Test is now considered the, “gold standard” laboratory method for identification of non-IgE mediated reactions to foods, chemicals, and other substances. https://www.alcat.com/
