Day 2 - Saturday, March 1st
Up early, breakfast in the Windjammer (with made to order omelets). Down to the Explorations Desk only to find out the explorations staff was already on the island. We boarded the Tender Boat over to the Royal Caribbean private island "Coco Cay" Previously known as Little Stirrup Key
The issue with the timing of the Stingray tour was worked out so that Nathan could do the Stingrays with Doug and I and still make it to the Kayak Tour/Snorkel with Dustin, Karen & Diane.
A sculpture at the tender dock.
A panoramic look of Coco Cay.
The island is 1 mile long and about 1/2 mile wide
The island is one of the berry islands (about 50 miles north of Nassau, Bahamas)

The water around the island is shallow so you need to tender from the
ship to shore on boats that hold about 150 people.

A full tender boat coming back from the island at the end of the day.
The NCL private island (Great Stirrup Cay) is right next to this one and the
NCL ship was also tendering to their island on the same date.

The Boys!
Doug was the first to hold a stingray!
Nathan needed a little coaxing
The stingrays would get so close, they would knock you off your feet.

All three of us
We were able to hold them, feed them, touch them and swim/snorkel with them.
After the Stingray tour we took Nathan to meet up with his mom and Dustin/Karen.
We enjoyed a lunch on the island and then headed back to the ship for some "sun" time by the pool.
At dinner, we enjoyed hearing everyone's stories of the day.
