The Kuklenz Family 2.0: Weekend Highlights

Thursday after work I headed south for the weekend. I stayed overnight at Jackie & Jonathan's apartment. I arrived in time for a wonderful supper made by Jackie. We caught up on stuff, looked at the wedding album and watched some of the Olympics before going to bed.

Friday morning, Jonathan went to work and Jackie and I headed out for some shopping. She needed some pants and shoes for school. I needed to find some clearance clothes for Andrew. Our first stop was Kohls. Jackie got some pants and shoes and I got a few outfits for Andrew. Next stop was the Conroe Outlet Mall. I went to Carters kids store and got a bunch of great deals on some clothes for Andrew $2.00 and $3.00 per outfit. Then we proceeded across the parking lot to the Dress Barn outlet. Jackie got 2 pair of pants and I got a dress. Last stop was Big Lots. They had spiral notebooks on sale for $0.17 and I got 5 of them to use for work, plus they had SanDisk 8GB USB drives on sale for $6.88 a piece. I got a handful of them so that I could send people the Kuklenz-Kiefer wedding photos. Check your mailbox for a package coming soon!

Friday afternoon, I went over to Josh and Jill's.

Spent some wonderful playtime with Andrew outside of his new "containment system".

Andrew hadn't gone to the bathroom in a few days so Josh/Jill gave Andrew some prunes.

Then we had some play time before Josh and Jill left on a date night "Dinner out with friends". I got playtime, feeding time, bathtime and bedtime. Andrew and I were both in bed before they got home.
Saturday, I spent the entire day at the Elliotts. I showed Jill all the clothes I had gotten for Andrew. He's outgrown all his 6 months clothes and was needing some bigger sizes. We had great burgers made by Josh and Jill made some corn on the cob. Jackie and Jonathan came over for a bit before heading to Karl and Audrey's home for a party. I would babysit Andrew tonight too, so that all the young adults could enjoy the party. Sounds like 20 or so people visited Karl and Audrey's new home.
Andrew gave me a workout this evening. Fed him Strawberry-Apple-Banana baby food for dinner and he was wired for the entire night. He was still awake when Josh and Jill got home from Karl and Audreys at 11pm. Jill took over, made the room dark and tried to make sure Josh and I weren't making any noise. Not an easy task apparantly!

Sunday morning, I overslept. I was supposed to be at Karls at 10am. Jill and Andrew woke me up at 9:30am. With a little more Andrew time, a shower and was out the door. Getting to Karl and Audrey's new place by 10:30am. I got the tour of the place and we visited about house stuff, my snake, his trip to Canada and the wedding plans. SPOILER ALERT ~ Tentative wedding date sometime in October 2013 ~ Keep your calendars open if you want to attend!

It is a one story home with 2 bedrooms, an office, living/dining area combined, an eat-in kitchen, laundry room and 2 car garage.
